[10 PACK] Japanese Melon Pan (Bread)

I received the melon pan in good condition w none of the pest issues other people encountered. However, the taste is not really similar to the melon pan you normally get in Japan, and the cookie layer is not crispy, it’s soft and a little crumbly. The taste is very similar to the Italian panettone bread that has the same yeast type - a little bit fruity and tangy on the aftertaste as opposed to milky. The texture of the bread is also similar to that with large, elongated air bubbles as opposed to smaller and more uniform ones. I am not a fan of panettone so it was unfortunate for me.

I ordered the variety box and the 10 pack of melon pan and was instead sent two variety boxes. They were delicious but, not what I ordered.

I really like the melonpan, and wish that there was a way to subscribe for this.

I've been a fan of all sorts of treats from Japan ranging from simple snacks to drinks and I've seen Melon pan appear in lots of anime which triggered an interest in trying them. I will say that I'm sad that they don't taste like melons but I do love their soft texture and gentle sweetness. I just might have to make ordering them a habit now.
